In the Holy Scriptures, God introduces Himself to us by His name. He tells us how He wants us to address and call Him, and that this name is eternal. Yet most Christians don’t really know what to make of this very important name. Why is that? Why don’t we use God’s name in our conversations, songs, and prayers?

Martin and Sigrid join you in exploring the meaning of the name Yahweh and explain how it came to be that it is rarely used, with other terms taking its place instead. And they ask whether, within the context of a genuine and intact relationship with the Father, it wouldn’t be more fitting to address Him by His real name (again) rather than by a title.

Everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved
