In a vision we saw a huge battlefield. Smoke was rising, weapons lay scattered and numerous "little heaps" could be seen on the ground. Stepping closer, we saw that they were Christians crouching on the ground looking down. Some of them were not even wounded, but they had laid their weapons aside and were, in the truest sense of the word, "downcast“.
We helped them to lift up their gaze again, to look to Jesus, to take up their weapons anew and to stand up to keep fighting.
That is what we understand by true encouragement.
