In our days, the lives of many people resemble a journey into the unknown. External circumstances beyond our control largely determine our lives and throw much into chaos and unrest.
At the same time, tremendous shakings are occurring all over the world. We are in the midst of a gigantic global upheaval that does not stop at the prosperous Western nations – and therefore not at you and me.
It is like a dangerous, raging storm sweeping across the whole earth. Its destructive power is frightening. Is there anything that offers security in this raging fiasco?
Behold, disaster goes forth from nation to nation, and a mighty storm rises from the farthest ends of the earth.
Jeremiah 25:32

On Handling Prophetic Impulses
Prophecy was an important part of the life of the first Christians, the "early church", and for several decades it has been experiencing a comprehensive rebirth in numerous circles of Christianity worldwide.
In order to handle prophetic impulses correctly, it is important to examine them personally – as, in principle, all other news and information as well. This is done through prayer and by means of the Holy Scriptures. Genuine prophecy and the Bible will never contradict each other. This examination is to be carried out by everyone who receives a prophecy, as well as by every reader. The Word of God calls us not to despise prophecy and to hold fast to what we have recognized as "good" after examination:
Do not despise prophecies. But test everything; hold fast what is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:20-21Pursue love! Strive for the gifts of the Spirit, but above all for the gift of prophetic speech! But he who prophesies speaks to people for edification and exhortation and comfort.
