The American evangelist Tommy Hicks was a man of faith who experienced powerful answers to prayer. He was a remarkable Pioneer of modern evangelistic movements, who was also active in Germany and Switzerland. But he became best known for An Unparalleled Evangelistic Campaign in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This two-month event is considered a turning point in the development of the Ekklesia in South America.

To this day, a vision that he received repeatedly in exactly the same way in 1961 continues to touch the hearts of countless children of God: “The Giant's Vision". Tommy Hicks said: "The greatest event the Church of Jesus Christ has ever experienced is just around the corner. "It is difficult to make men and women aware of—and help them understand—what God has in store for His people in the end times."
