The Forgotten Feast Day
The words of the Bible are full of wonderful promises and important assurances for our daily lives. But in times of attack, despondency, or distress It can happen that we forget the precious promises of our God. It shouldn't be that way! His words must be so firmly rooted in us that we can stand firm on them in the midst of all difficulties and attacks.
Sigrid reflects with you on the fact that Yeshua spent several months giving His disciples detailed information about His suffering, His death, and His resurrection. He told them what lay ahead for Him—and therefore for them as well. Yet After the crucifixion, it was as if they had forgotten everything. Why hadn't they prepared for a day of joy, a day of victory and celebration? Instead, they were planning to embalm a dead Jesus.
"The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes, and be killed." and be raised on the third day.
