Precious and Contested: Your Destiny, Your Calling, Your Vision
It is of the utmost importance for you to recognize, in a very personal way, God's purpose and calling for your life. He has planned something for you as His beloved child that applies to no one else – a vision, a destiny, a task. Be sure of this: God created you for a life in this time and He expects you to bear fruit; that your life does not simply slip by, but actually brings forth His intentions and plans. For if you are a child of God, you do not live for yourself, but for Him.
Martin talks with you about the importance of keeping your eyes firmly fixed on this goal – on the purpose and vision God has given you. This call of the Lord is among the most precious things you possess.
But the enemy is in no way interested in you fulfilling your calling. And so there are assaults, attacks and temptations …
I therefore urge you … to walk worthy of the calling with which you have been called
