Divine Provision for You: Yahweh Jireh
One of the eternally unchanging names under which God reveals Himself to us in His Word is YHWH Jireh – the Lord, your Provider.
Martin looks with you at where the name Yahweh Jireh comes from and which terms the Bible uses in Hebrew and Greek for “to provide” and “provision”, and goes through 20 interesting examples of divine provision in Holy Scripture with you. To him, two of the miracles of Jesus are especially important for our time today.
You will see: the fact that God is our Provider runs through the whole Bible. His provision includes food, protection, guidance, strength, wisdom, healing, possibilities, opportunities, assignments, calling, empowerment and everything that is needed to fulfil His instructions.
An exciting and important topic for the time that lies ahead of us.
But my God will supply all your need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:19
