When we search the New Testament for the words "anxiety" or "fear", it is striking that they are repeatedly set in contrast to the word "love".
Isn't that interesting? Love casts out fear, it says in the first letter of John. So the best answer, when anxiety and fear reach for a person, is an understanding of the overflowing love of God.
Expose yourself to the love of God, and fear will have to depart from you.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress , or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?
Romans 8:35

For God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
