Intimidation is something each of us faces to varying degrees. It's about discouraging us, scaring us, and making us feel insecure. Intimidation is meant to make us shy. Shyness is the fear of being judged negatively or rejected by others. It is not innate, but develops over time from learned behavioral patterns.

Our enemy relies heavily on intimidation – through threats, coercion, and fear-mongering. He truly wants to intimidate God’s people and keep them intimidated. In a prophetic moment, Nate Johnston received the word of the Lord: „Beware of the spirit of intimidation", which is now coming with full force and enveloping the Body of Christ."
