Martin also addresses the topic of clothing and explores the question of what implications this has for each of us in a spiritual sense. Because We are all “clothed” in countless things and we carry around a lot of things that we—or others—have “imposed” or “dumped” on us. And We really need to get rid of a lot of that. That is why the Word of God repeatedly calls on us to put aside certain things and behaviors … and to put on others. Both are important. And we must do both ourselves—actively, consciously, and resolutely.

But what exactly does that mean? How can we take something off or put something on in a spiritual sense? Why is it important for our personal freedom and for living a victorious life as a child of God? And what does all this have to do with investing?

Let us now turn to the works of darkness put away and the weapons of light put on!
