According to the New Testament, the entire account of the Exodus from Egypt serves as an example for us. It is much, much more than a story from times long past that no longer holds any relevance for us today.
For God continues to call His people out even today from this world's crumbling system, rife with injustice, slavery, fraud, lies, abuse, and oppression. It's about the Come out, To be separated from, Becoming Free the sons and daughters of God.
