What Do You See?
It's so easy to focus on all the threatening things that surround us in the natural world. Our world is filled with malice, violence, and inhumanity as never before—these are hallmarks of the last days. But does it really help us if we keep our eyes fixed on these things?
When Jesus once healed a blind man in an unusual way, He asked him, “What do you see?” Sigrid thought about this, and it became an important question for her as well during a time of prayer. What do we see? What are our eyes focused on? Are the eyes of our hearts open to the things that really matter—the truths, the crucial aspects of our lives?
The Bible tells us about those who saw God at work in the spiritual realm. We do not want to be among those who give in to fear and panic, but rather those who are guided by the Spirit of God and see Him more and more with the eyes of the heart.
But we, with unveiled faces, behold the glory of the Lord
