Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. His coming was like an invasion of heaven into this fallen world. After the Holy Spirit came upon Him at His baptism and He came out of the wilderness in the power of the Spirit, Jesus began to spread the Kingdom of God—one person at a time. As followers of Jesus, we are called to continue carrying this out earnestly and how He is determined to confront the works and schemes of darkness.
