The Bible tells us about men and women who were in God’s presence and became a living testimony to His power—a testimony that still touches us today. Were these people Far from any problems or doubts? Did they live? Untouched by any conflict? No! Some hardships made their journey difficult and arduous; some challenges stood in their way. They had to decide, to press on with the Lord despite all of this.

Using an example, Sigrid tells you about a decision like this, which involves “going deeper to the root.” About the decision to hold fast to God despite all adversity. It is a testimony that it is worth walking hand in hand with Him, trusting Him, and following Him.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, and its leaves never wither!
