A "killer argument" is a rhetorical device used to stifle and silence another person's views. It often comes across as strong and authoritative, but it's weak in terms of content, because it does not provide any real evidence.

Martin explores with you the use of statements like, “That’s unbiblical!” or “That’s not in the Bible!” Because, when you really think about it, on the one hand we do a lot of things that aren’t in the Bible; and on the other hand, we fail to do a whole number of things that are clearly in the Bible.

In particular, Martin is concerned with the rejection of the supernatural workings of the Holy Spirit among God's people in our day as “unbiblical.” Behind this lies a false system of teaching that leads some Christians to claim that “the supernatural” ceased after the time of the apostles. Where does such a bizarre, religiously distorted view?
