Whenever there is talk of an upcoming revival, a mighty move of God, or an outpouring of the Holy Spirit, certain Christians react very strongly to it. They take the position that supposedly none of this is found in the Bible and that it is therefore heresy. What lies ahead for us, they say, is nothing other than the great apostasy at the end of time.

But is that really so? Is what lies ahead really nothing more than a grim, apocalyptic nightmare scenario?

Let yourself be guided into a balanced, biblical perspective, which, despite all the threats looming ahead, does not simply overlook or sweep under the rug many of the wonderful promises of Scripture.

The people who lived in the gloom lives, sees a bright light. Those in the land of the darkness live, light shines above them. You increase the rejoicing, you make the joy big. They're happy for you, the way people get happy at the harvest, how one cheers when dividing up the spoils.
