Mercy—we all know this word from the Bible. In the Old Testament, especially in the Psalms, it is mentioned in connection with God’s people, Israel, and Yahweh’s covenants with them. In the New Covenant, we find mercy in Jesus Christ and His unique work of salvation and grace.

Mercy is one of the attributes of God's character. She is inseparably united with Him. In His love, He repeatedly reveals Himself to be merciful, gracious, patient, and full of goodness. Sigrid reflects on this with you A person in the Bible who, however, had a real hard time with Yahweh's mercy.
