The spiritual gifts – through them the Holy Spirit works in very concrete ways in the children of God to strengthen, encourage, heal, guide and build up others, and much more.
It is important that we not only recognize the gifts but actually put them to use. For spiritual gifts unfold their power when they are used. An unused gift bears no fruit. When we are willing to let ourselves be used, situations and lives can be changed and the people of God strengthened.
