We rarely find the word "interwoven" in our everyday language anymore. It means something like: intertwined, interlaced, threaded through, woven into one another, fused, joined together. When something is interwoven with something else, it means it is joined so tightly, so almost inseparably, that it can hardly be distinguished anymore. A piece of fabric, for example, that becomes a whole even though two different threads or materials were used for it.

For me that is a good example of how I would like to describe the relationship with Jesus in the spiritual realm. "Being interwoven" with him, very closely, into one another, together, inseparably…

When you have made a decision for Jesus, when he has become the Lord of your life, then this process of becoming interwoven, of being joined together, begins. Get involved in it …

The LORD called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
Isaiah 49:1

You, God, have woven me in my mother's womb … my frame was not hidden from you, when I was made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth.
Psalm 139:13-15

He is actually not far from each one of us, for in him we live and move and have our being
Acts 17:27-28
