When the "First Love" Has Fallen by the Wayside
A week ago, Sigrid spoke about the Epistle of Jude under the topic “False Teachers at the End of Time.” Today, she’ll explore with you another biblical epistle that also addresses the issue of, A Letter for "the Last Days" to be. It is addressed to God’s children who, in their relationship with Jesus, once—when they heard His call in their hearts— off to a good start were … but then, over time, many things had come up and The fire of first love gradually died out.
The letter is both a serious admonition and a genuine source of encouragement. For In it, Jesus himself outlines three steps for correction. He himself suggests them to us as a way to return to our “first love” if it has fallen by the wayside.
You shall love the Lord your God, love with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
