Every Christian knows that the ransom required for our eternal salvation was paid by Jesus on the cross. But the means of payment for our redemption was not in Jesus’ wallet; rather, it flowed in and out of His veins. It was His blood. There was nothing to haggle over or bargain down; no discount and no reduction. Jesus gave His blood for us, down to the very last drop.

Martin engages with the immense significance of the blood of Jesus. Why is it so immeasurably precious? What consequences does it have to hold this blood in low regard? Why is it such a powerful weapon against the enemy? And why does one hear so little about this so important topic today?
