We find ourselves in challenging times, and fear, propaganda, manipulation, news and fake news are simply raining down on us. For every one of us, in this phase of great confusion and conflicting opinions, it is more important than ever to hear from the Lord ourselves and personally. We need God to speak in our lives; we must hear what the Lord says to us through his Holy Spirit.

The Bible calls on us not to despise prophetic impulses, and to reach out to speak prophetically ourselves. But how does this actually work with prophecy? Martin talks about prophetic speech today — and gives a guiding prophetic word which the Lord gave him three weeks ago: "The Greatest Thing a Person Can Experience."

Pursue love! And earnestly desire the gifts of the Spirit, especially the gift of prophetic speech!
