The account of the Exodus from Egypt is not a story from a bygone era that no longer holds any relevance for us today. This entire subject matter speaks to us as believers in the New Covenant, and it is something we should engage with. For we, too, stand an enemy system under the rule of a ruthless slave driver – the devil – who wants to subjugate us and tries to rob us of our freedom.
