On the Blessing of Separation
"The Blessing of Separation"—an unusual title for us, who are constantly reminded of how important unity is among us Christians. Christian unity is seen as one of the most valuable aspects of the life of faith, as something that must be organized and preserved at all costs. But there are usually conditions attached. For the sake of the unity we seek, we are expected to leave some of our personal beliefs behind, to set them aside. For others view them differently, and thus they are Not compatible with Einheits.
But is it wise to yield to the call for unity and Putting truths aside that are actually of the utmost importance to us?
Martin talks with you about how separation can be good and right—yes, even something spiritual. The term “ekklesia,” for example, refers to separation. It refers to those who have been called out, those who are set apart, those who have been separated from the world’s system.
So what is the Bible really talking about when it speaks of spiritual unity?
