This is how we like to picture it: we are moving forward victoriously with the Lord. We are well trained, full of vigor and strength, and we clear every hurdle set up before us. Everything is just fine. But then something happens that we don't understand. Suddenly someone traveling with us blocks a hurdle right in the middle of the race through "differences," through misunderstandings,, through a different point of view.

Sigrid looks with you at someone who traveled together with Paul and had many hurdles to overcome in his life. Someone who had already achieved many victories . He was strong in faith, boldly proclaimed the gospel, and spread the kingdom of God together with Paul. And yet at some point there was a hurdle they could not clear together. That caused stress…

But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal, for the prize of the heavenly calling that God gives us in Christ Jesus.
