Nazi Germany had overrun numerous countries and subjugated them under a terrible reign of terror, France included. But there was the Résistance, the underground resistance. And word got around about secret preparations for a mighty invasion that was to bring rescue. But how could this ever be possible? It seemed so unbelievable. The situation was hopeless.
