Every follower of Jesus finds themselves in a spiritual battle. It makes no difference whether they want to acknowledge this or not, and whether they find it agreeable or not. It is a battle assigned to us. It is not directed against people, against "flesh and blood," but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
