There is a widespread view that at the end of the age only "the great falling away" would come. This view is based on a selective interpretation of Jesus' end-time discourses.

Indeed, we are experiencing a gigantic falling away. We see the signs of the end times fulfilled all around us through unbelievable wickedness, malice and satanic machinations. But parallel to this, something else is happening that we must not overlook: the promised worldwide harvest for the Kingdom of God is taking place. Millions upon millions of people all over the world are seizing salvation in Jesus Christ. That is exactly what Jesus promised us in the parable of the weeds and the wheat: "The harvest however is the completion of the age.“ (Matthew 13:39).

But there is even more in the parable. It speaks about our spiritual identity!

And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world, to all nations as a testimony, and then the end will come.
