The most crucial and important thing every Christian needs in life is the Holy Spirit. He is the Spirit of Truth. If, as children of God, we do not want to be deceived in this age marked by lies, dishonesty, and fake news, we need Him – Absolutely. We must understand His promptings, listen to His words, and obey His commands. He is God—and He is God within us. Without Him, a Christian’s life is arduous, cumbersome, ineffective, and often fruitless. With Him, however, absolutely anything is possible.

That is why Gottes Haus’s 2024 Lenten campaign is titled “Encounter the Holy Spirit.” The goal is to encounter Him in a deeper, more intimate, and more personal way, to better understand His guidance, to recognize His initiatives, and to put them into practice. To set the tone for this year's Lenten campaign, the following will speak: Sigrid and Martin with you about how to go about fasting, about their heartfelt wish for each and every participant And they share two striking examples of how Reinhard Bonnke once experienced encounters with the Holy Spirit that had a profound impact on his life and ministry.
