On our path through life there are sometimes difficult times, sometimes good times, sometimes we move forward well, sometimes not. Sometimes there's a season of illness, a battle, a challenge, a new stretch of the road…

As Sigrid was thinking about this, the Holy Spirit reminded her of the altars the Bible tells us about. Altars that were erected for various reasons and that set a marker in people's lives. He reminded her that it was time to look once again, at "her altar," at situations of guidance, preservation, help, healing, restoration, encouragement, confidence, and hope, and to bring a sacrifice of praise .

And he reminded her that there is no altar without fire .

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
