Spring — a season that amazes us again and again with its "exploding wonders" and is a picture of our life of faith. In the midst of this dried-up, brown "something," the bare branches on the trees, the brown brush, this gray everywhere-sameness, new life arises. Something new is coming! That is, at its core, the message of the word of God: "Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?" And this applies to the spiritual, supernatural realm of our faith too. 

Sigrid is certain: precisely through dry, cold times with their adversities, circumstances, problems, and toil, God wants to bring forth growth and blessing in our lives. He wants to bring forth his victory in us. We should, indeed must, decide for a "partnership" with God's victory in our lives .

Behold, I am doing a new thing, now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I make a way in the wilderness and lay down rivers in the desert.
