The Bible is the book of our lives, in which it's all about sticking with it, overcoming, not deviating. It calls on us to hold fast. If there is the call to hold fast, then there is also the possibility of letting go — or the possibility that something is taken out of our hands because we did not hold onto it well enough.

Today Sigrid talks about how the enemy keeps trying to take away from us what we have received from God, to rob it, to steal it out of our hands. In doing so he often proceeds so gently that some don't even notice that the things of God are being taken away from them. Some have been robbed so much that they are empty in their hearts and hands and don't even realize it. But that must not be true of us!

Guard the good deposit entrusted to you, through the Holy Spirit who dwells within us.
