Around 445 B.C., a court official of the powerful Persian king was sent to Judea as governor. His mission: to rebuild the city walls of Jerusalem, which had been completely demolished during the destruction wrought by the Babylonians over 100 years earlier. But the project of rebuilding the walls would prove to be more arduous and difficult than expected. For there were friends and enemies, both from outside and from within. There was good, spiritual unity, and there was evil, demonically induced unity. And there was a great deal of hard work.

Today, Martin will continue talking with you about the prophetic significance of the story of Nehemiahh. It is of remarkable importance to us as individuals, as families, as churches, and as the Ekklesia as a whole—especially when it comes to the topic of unity.
