Fire on the Altar

The primary duty of the priesthood in the Old Testament was to tend the fire on the altar and keep it burning. The same is true for us, as sons and daughters of God, even today. For The fire of God in our lives is the only true protection against the spirit of the world; against paralysis, heaviness, sluggishness, unbelief, routine, complacency, and much more

Therefore: Cherish and nurture the fire that has been kindled in your life, cherish it—every day.

With Holy Communion—please prepare.

I remind you to fan the gift of God into flame, which is in you.
