Day 13 - God’s Love Letter
The whole Bible, from beginning to end, is a love letter about a righteous and holy God who goes to the utmost to save lost humanity. It tells the great story of His love, His faithfulness and His unshakable will to bring people back into fellowship with Himself.
From the first page to the last, Scripture points to Jesus, Yeshua, the Messiah. Already in the Old Testament we meet promises, images, sacrifices, covenants and prophetic pointers that look ahead to Him. In the New Testament we see their fulfilment: the Son of God comes into this world to be the perfect sacrifice and to bear sin and guilt and to pay the price for our redemption. He comes to save, to redeem and to restore, to open the way to the Father and to give eternal life.
With Holy Communion—please prepare.
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He [Jesus] explained to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.
