There is a remarkable psalm in the Old Testament that holds special significance in the New Testament. Certain verses refer explicitly to Jesus. This makes Psalm 118 a central text for understanding what Yeshua did for us.

The structure of the psalm reveals a deliberate dramatic design. It begins and ends with the same call: “Give thanks to YHWH, for he is good, for his chesed "lasts forever." This context makes it clear that the content provided by Adversity, Rescue, and Victory speaks of God's wonderful faithfulness and His intervention.
