Let's suppose an apple tree would just one apple produce fruit and then be cut down. In principle, it would have already fulfilled its God-given purpose, which is to bear apples. Let’s further assume that this single apple would fall on good soil, sprout, and, over time, grow into a new apple tree. How much fruit can this new apple tree produce? Depending on how long it bears fruit, it could very well produce thousands of apples, and if these in turn multiply into new apple trees, there could even be millions of apples. This Potential is in every single apple.

If we this important truth Understanding this helps us resist the temptation to resist the temptation to be unfaithful to God's calling, just because we think we can't show any visible results.

But those in the good soil are the ones who … keep the word after they have heard it, and Bearing Fruit Through Perseverance.
