The devil is out to destroy our enthusiasm and joy. He constantly tries to rob us of them, because he knows that our joy in the Lord is our strength. There is hardly anything in this world that he fears more than Christians who move forward with joy, enthusiasm, and strength.

In the Old Testament, among the Biblical holidays Something interesting: God has literally commanded joy there. He expects it—not as an option, but as a commandment. This raises the question: Can you make yourself happy?
