Harassed by People?
They exist. People who harass, pressure, bully, exclude, torment, or drive others out — in the workplace, in training, at school, or wherever. Christians in particular often find themselves on these people's "hit list." Perhaps you know such cases, or have even experienced firsthand how something like that feels.
Because of strange theological views, quite a few Christians let themselves be doused with something like a cold shower. Out of a misunderstood sense of humility, they try to love their enemies, take the lowest path, and so on.
But we have to take our stand. We must not let base, demonized people run free when they torment us and others. We have to protect ourselves and others. You are meant to be a blessing to others. That also means preventing malice, cursing, and meanness. So take a stand against these attacks. Exercise spiritual authority and resist these schemes.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, and having done all, to stand!
Ephesians 6:13
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist . Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, Resist him, firm in your faith.
1 Peter 5:8-9
And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, being careful to do them
Deuteronomy 28:13
