A true new beginning

Many people look at their past, at wrong decisions, failures, missed opportunities. At things that turned out differently than they had hoped. But you can make a new beginning. The message of the gospel is: A new beginning is possible! And yet some people live in such a way that one could say of them: Most people would rather have a hell they know than a heaven they do not know!

Some people would rather stay in what they know, however oppressive, painful or terrible it may be, because they are not willing to receive something new, however promising and hopeful it may be.

Do not let the old confine you, block your life, suffocate you and hem you in. Finally throw overboard the thoughts that everything is pointless, that everything will always stay the way it has been, and that nothing in your life will ever change. They are vile lies of the devil.

Things do not have to stay the way they are. God can create something new. At any time. In your life too. And I am certain: He is not only able to do it, He also wants to do it! No matter what path your life has taken. No matter how your past has gone. No matter how stuck your situation looks. He can step in and do something new. Let Him!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
