Words have immense power; they practically have substance. God called the world into existence through His Word. As born-again Christians, we are part of His body, the ekklesia, and thus one with Him (1 Corinthians 12:12–27). The Bible calls us kings—these rule through their decrees, orders, and directives. That is why our words also possess great spiritual power. Through them We can build up or tear down, bless or curse – even in one's own life.
