The lives of the "faithful witnesses" of the Bible challenge us to root our faith more deeply in God. In the midst of conflicts, condemnations, suffering, and pain , we encounter there people who let themselves be used by YHWH, who were not willing to make compromises, and who resolutely followed the call of the Most High. God used them to do something new.
