In order to gain the right understanding of the events in and around Israel, it is important that we recognize the mysterious relationship between the people of God of the Old Covenant — Israel — and the people of God of the New Covenant — the Ecclesia. The Bible uses for this relationship the image of an olive tree. It speaks of the roots and the trunk on the one hand, and the grafted-in branches on the other. Both are inseparably connected with one another and belong together.

Martin talks with you about a few astonishing parallels that are more than illuminating for our situation today. For what happens in Israel in the natural realm occurs shortly afterward, or even at the same time, in the worldwide Ecclesia in the spiritual realm.
