The bubbling, invigorating, life-giving, and purifying power of water is something we as human beings need—both in the natural and in the supernatural realms. Water is just as important for our bodies as it is for our souls and minds. Just as water is essential for life on Earth, so is the “water of life” essential to our eternal existence.

The Bible shows us the fundamental importance of water. And it describes humanity’s thirst for water and life; it’s a theme that runs like a common thread through the entire text.
