A great part of Jesus' ministry — besides preaching and healing — was casting out demons. The mandate to set people free from every kind of demonic influence and captivity, once and for all, has also been unmistakably given by the Lord to us, his followers.

Decisive for this is a correct spiritual understanding of our position and identity in him — Jesus Christ. We must know what spiritual authority has been given to us and how to use it wisely. There is no room for superstitious fear when, guided by the Holy Spirit, we proclaim good news to the poor; call for freedom for captives; and send the oppressed out in liberty (Luke 4:18). Today Martin talks with you about the most important spiritual weapons the Lord has entrusted to us in order to carry out this mandate victoriously.
