There is a very special day in God’s biblical festival calendar. It follows immediately after the seventh festival, the Feast of Tabernacles. It is a day that points to the fact that God is about to do something completely new!

Using a vivid image, Sigrid spoke about this “Day of the Great Assembly”—Shemini Atzeret. It is the festival marking the end of time, the festival of the goal, the culmination—and yet also of a new beginning, of eternity in God’s presence, when a new heaven and a new earth will be created.

It is a prophetic picture of the festive gathering for the wedding of the Lamb, Yeshua, with His bride—the church of the redeemed from every nation, tribe, people, and language, the called-out ones—without spot or wrinkle. She has been made ready for the unimaginable, everlasting wedding of the Lamb.
