When we look at the situation of our countries in the natural realm, watchfully and critically, and assess it, we see above all darkness, sin, decay. The picture is frustrating and oppressive. But — thank the Lord! — this is not the only perspective there is. There is also what God has promised to do. There is not only the natural perspective, but also the spiritual one. And that is exactly why we need prophecy. What does God say about the whole thing? How does heaven see the development?

The spiritual perspective is often completely different and goes far beyond our own understanding, our view in the natural realm, our putting together how things will probably turn out. That's why prophecy can be very challenging for the natural mind. But it is of the greatest importance that we see and judge the situation the way God sees and judges it.

Martin passes on ten current prophetic impulses relevant to our present situation.

Do not despise a prophetic message. But test everything and hold on to what is good.
1 Thessalonians 5:20-21
