The speaking in tongues promised through Yeshua is speaking in a language inspired by the Holy Spirit that the speaker does not master. It is an expression of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us and does not spring from our own thinking, our intellect, or our abilities.

Martin had already been a Christian for 15 years before he first heard someone praying in tongues. He came from a spiritual background where this was not present, not alive. What a loss!
