The prophet Daniel was a remarkable figure. His great wisdom and insight led him to the highest positions—yet in his heart, he refused to be corrupted by the system in which he lived. He remained so steadfast in his faith in God that it even led him into the lions' den.

Sigrid talks about something we can learn from him: Daniel fasted! At the very beginning of his career, he asked the royal overseer for permission for him and his friends to eat only vegetables and drink only water instead of the food served at the royal table. We also read that he went without “delicious food,” meat, and wine for three weeks. Among believers, this is known as the Daniel Fast. What is it all about?
