We had a special experience with the Lord and His Word. It began with a video message from the well-known spiritual leader David Wilkerson, recorded in 2008.

David spoke about times of dramatic crisis and cited the story of David and the city of Ziklag as an example of such exceptional situations. It was one of the most critical moments in David’s life. The Bible says that David and his men wept until they had no more tears left.

At the end of the clip, he says:
“Lift up your hands and give thanks to God for His faithfulness. He will bring His church through this. The Holy Spirit will move. It is God who will bring them: He will awaken many, many people. He will wake them up, who were cold and indifferent. He will pour out His Spirit right there!“

He went on to say that each of us needs a personal word from the Lord in times of distress. At that moment, Sigrid opened an English Bible by David Stern that was lying in front of her, and her eyes fell on a passage in the book of Haggai:

I will shake heaven and earth. And I will overthrow the throne of the kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations; I will overthrow the chariots and their drivers, and the horses and their riders will fall to the ground. Everyone will fall by the sword of another.
Haggai 2:21–22

That reminded us of a prophetic word from Loren Cunningham in 1994 during the March for Jesus in Germany…

„Germany also plays a key role with regard to a revival in Europe. Where satan brought death and sin in overflowing measure, grace will far exceed any measure. Precisely in the land upon which the enemy swept in like a flood, the Spirit of God will raise the “level of spiritual life.” Many prayer movements are gaining strength. The hunger for unity is growing; this can be seen very clearly in events such as the “March for Jesus.” The divisions of the past are to be bridged. Intellectual pride is being replaced by humility and love for one another. More and more evangelists are rising up. This country, with a big heart for the nations, will once again bless the entire world with Bibles, a new Reformation, revival movements, prayer for the nations, and the sending of missionaries to every continent.“

For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “There is still a little while left, and I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea, and the dry land.
